We have all seen the new fiber optic rollout on the streets of Hull but what does that mean for all of us the reside in the Kcom catchment are?
Kcom now have competition in there catchment area and we have been waiting decades for this to happen.
The MS3 Network company is the wholesaler for the new internet providers coming to hull, with the 10Gb/s fiber networks, aiming to bring ultra fast speeds to 500,000 residential homes and businesses to locations in the Humber region.
With the office based in Priory Park, Hessle they are to bring the biggest speeds upload and download to residents and businesses we all know upload is just as important as download and you can achieve 1Gb/s in both upload and download for almost half the price of Kcom’s top package.
The MS3 Network is the backbone of the infrastructure that is provided to there partners that have the contact and contracts with residential and business Users to provide the internet service for them, Like a carrier in a phone network when you have a contract with for instance Virgin Mobile or Sky Mobile, you will not have a contract wit the MS3 Network to provide an internet service.
I am personally excited to see this shake up of the Hull region and hope that it brings prices down of internet packages with the new competition it brings to the likes of Kcom who until recently had the market tied down.
To find out information of the new internet service providers coming to Hull provided by MS3 Network all you have to do is look at there providers webpage.
There has been some complaints of the installation team blocking access to drives and been arrogant but my own experience has been positive when I have spoke to several of there installation staff and I expect people have approached them with an attitude to begin with.
If they have a barrier over your drive all you have to do is calmly ask them to move it and place a sheet over the pavement where it has been dug up so you can get your car in and out of your drive and they will accommodate you.
